This program is for new homes that achieve the ENERGY STAR rating, builders may request the following financial incentives through NHPES, using IPL provided incentive applications: Up to $500 per home for defraying the cost of the HERS inspection and certification. More information here.
IndependenceHELP is a partnership between the City of Independence Power & Light Department (IPL), City Credit Union to provide low-interest loans for eligible energy efficiency measures. There is no upper income limit for this program. The loan limit for HELP is $15,000. More information
